Anthony Glunt found his passion for landscaping at age 18. He had been working in and around the landscaping field for the past three years. He was working and attending college when he decided to start his first business. He called it Createscapes and ran the entire operation between his junior and senior years of college. During summers and holiday breaks, Anthony completed several projects for builders, local clients and friends. Anthony graduated in 1992 from Virginia Tech with a bachelors degree in horticulture. Following graduation, Anthony began working for Glenwood Nurseries. He quickly became a foreman on an installation crew and eventually ran the off site operations. In 1996, the owner of Glenwood Nurseries retired and gave the existing clientele to Anthony and A.L. Glunt Landscape Designs, Inc. Since that point, Anthony’s business has grown steadily and he enjoys serving Richmond and the surrounding areas. He takes pride in the fact that a majority of his work comes from word of mouth references and repeat work from clients that value his professionalism.
